Peter Cairns
Scotland: A Rewilding Journey
Based in the Scottish Highlands, Peter has worked as a nature and conservation photographer and writer for over 20 years, co-founding major conservation communications initiatives such as Tooth & Claw, Wild Wonders of Europe and 2020VISION.
During the past two decades he has helped pioneer Scotland’s nature tourism industry and until recently ran his own photo-tour company. Peter is a serving Board Member of Scottish charity Trees for Life and a Senior Fellow of the International League of Conservation Photographers. In 2016, he founded SCOTLAND: The Big Picture, a social enterprise that creates media to amplify the case for a wilder Scotland.
